Registration for the 18th Bulletin of Monetary Economics and Banking International Conference and Call for Papers is now open!
Bank Indonesia Institute - Bank Indonesia, in collaboration with the Asia-Pacific Applied Economics Association (APAEA), is delighted to host the 18th Bulletin of Monetary Economics and Banking International Conference and Call for Papers (18 BMEB ICP), focusing on the theme of “Policy Innovation in a Turbulent World: Embracing Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence Amid Global Uncertainty”. The world is navigating an era of unprecedented turbulence with challenges such as climate change, economic instability, and rapid technological advancement, where effective policymaking and policy design are essential for sustainable social and economic progress.
The conference will be presided over by the Governor of Bank Indonesia, Dr. Perry Warjiyo, who will also deliver a keynote speech on July 29th, 2024 in Jakarta, Indonesia. This event will be held in hybrid mode (online and in person). The committee report will be delivered by the Head of Bank Indonesia Institute, Dr. Yoga Affandi. The plenary speakers at the upcoming conference are Prof. Albert Park from the Asian Development Bank, Prof. Ahmet Faruk Aysan from the Hamad Bin Khalifa University, and Budi Gandasoebrata from GoTo Financial. The plenary session will be moderated by Prof. Paresh Narayan from Monash University Australia and APAEA.
